Veterinary medicine has always been my passion; for all animals, I advocate for their quality of life and comfort.
While I practice, I place my focus on the care, comfort and confidence of both the pet but also the owner. The best medical outcomes take place when all teams are on board with the plan and ones that are realistic to achieve. I advocate for pain and stress management and I make that the pillar of my visits with your animal. I enjoy educating the family’s of my patients about the care I'm providing and why I choose to recommend certain treatments, tests and approaches.
With my passion for treating many different species - companion animals, marine life, and other exotics - I decided that travelling internationally for veterinary school would be my best fit. I began my studies at the University of Guelph, completed my didactic studies in Saint Kitts and Nevis at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, and finished my clinical training at the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine. Through these adventures, my passions grew for companion animal medicine, avian medicine and exotic medicine.
I have the privilege of caring for my childhood dog - his name is Buddy, a maltese poodle and he just turned 14! In my free time you can find me crocheting sweaters (for my friends and pets), watercolour painting, baking sweets, or spending time with my family.
Together, I look forward to finding common goals and making realistic plans for your pet and their medical care.
